Coombe Park, Four Oaks Estate, Sutton Coldfield

Located within the prestigious Four Oaks Estate Conservation Area in Sutton Coldfield, this project involved the extension and remodelling of an existing detached home to modernise its design and enhance the internal flow of space.

Our design approach focused on creating a harmonious blend of contemporary functionality and respect for the area’s heritage. The transformation included a ground and lower ground floor extension to the rear, introducing a new gym, games room, and a practical utility area at the lower ground level.

The first floor underwent a loft conversion to create a luxurious new bedroom with a separate dressing area and en-suite. The addition of a dormer window at the rear and roof lights to the front, side, and rear ensured ample natural light throughout the property, creating bright and inviting living spaces.

The external enhancements included the installation of Juliette balconies on the side elevations, providing elegant visual features and increased connection to the outdoors. A bespoke glazed balcony with an external staircase was added, offering a unique and stylish outdoor space.

This project demonstrates our expertise in combining thoughtful design with practical functionality, delivering a revitalised home that meets the evolving needs of its occupants while preserving its character within a sensitive conservation area.
